This lovely little blog has seriously been lacking in the photo department for quite some time. I hope to change that this month! I’m lucky enough to have a super sweet camera, but it does me no good if it’s just collecting dust…

I haven’t made the switch yet, just purchased a domain. I still think I will be doing it, but probably not until the second half of the year.
I’m trying to learn how to create my own web design and still have to pick up the books my friend recommended that I study.
I also want to get the blog fully transitioned into my new focus before I switch over, just to make sure I still have readers once it’s established lol
How about you? Have you given .org any more thought?

I have already bought my own domain but like you I need to read up on creating webdesign.
I have no problem with designing headers and backgrounds but it is all the plug ins and technical stuff that I need to understand before I do this and I also need to find a good server. Many of the self hosted blogs I love complain about server problems
I too have heard of server problems. I did read an article that suggested a great one, but forgot to write it down. When I find it again I will be sure to let you know, I’ll look for it this evening.
I don’t think that overall it will be difficult to learn but it does feel overwhelming because it is new. I’ve had a bit of practice when I used to have a myspace account I created a lot of custom sheets and learned it rather well, it’s been years though!
We will have to help each other out 😉 I’ll email you the article and the name of the books my friend suggested. There are also oodle of articles on-line, I’ll try to keep track of the best ones I find 🙂
